Crochet Knit-look scrunchies pattern

If you love to crochet a scrunchie that looks like a knitted one, then this pattern is made for you! You will be satisfied with the finished product, it will be beautiful with the knit-look. A plus point is that it is so easy to make, you can still do it if you are beginners, the only skill is to crochet Slip Stitches working in Back Loop, wow!

Yarn:

I use Sugar’n Cream cotton yarn to crochet this scrunchie. You need to use the Medium/ Worsted weight yarn to help you crochet this quickly since you only work with Slip Stitches.

Hook:

I use Clover 5.5 mm crochet hook for this project. I like to use multiple crochet brands in many projects but for this I recommend using the Clover hook to get the Back Loop easily and to hold the yarn on top of the hook.

GAUGE:

5cm/2” square = 16 Sts X 11 Rows

MEASUREMENTS cm:

Diameter: 9 (11, 13)

MEASUREMENTS inches:

CROCHET KNIT-LOOK SCRUNCHIE PATTERN

SCRUNCHIE PANEL:

FOUNDATION CHAIN Ch 13 (16, 19)

ROW 1: BLO Sl St into 2nd Ch from hook, BLO Sl St into each Ch until end.

< 12 (15, 18)>

ROW 2: Ch1, Turn, Sk Tch, BLO Sl St into each St until 1 St left, Sl St.

< 12 (15, 18)>

Rep ROW 2 until ROW 72 (84, 96)

Fasten off! Leave a long tail (24-30”) to sew two sides of the short and long edge together.

ASSEMBLY:

Bring the two sides of the short edge together and sew them the way you like.

Put the elastic scrunchie at the middle of the Scrunchie Panel.

Fold the two sides of the long edge and sew them together the way you like.

Weave in all of your ends.

Hide the seam at the middle of the scrunchie.

Congratulations 🎉 You have finished your scrunchie!
