Crochet Bow Mesh Headband Pattern

Hi, today I have a sweet headband pattern for you: A Simple Bow Mesh headband for beginners level. It is so easy to make and turns out so great!

Yarn:

I use Sugar’n Cream Cotton yarn for this headband which is Worsted Weight 100% Cotton yarn. You can also use any Worsted Weight yarn for this headband.

Hook:

I use 4.5 mm Crochet hook to crochet the headband and 5.5 mm Crochet hook to crochet the foundation chain. You can replace by 4.0 & 5.0 hook or 5.0 & 6.0 Hook based on your crochet tension.

5cm/2” square = 8 Sts X 7 Rows (4 DC Rows + 3SC Rows)

CROCHET BOW MESH HEADBAND PATTERN:

HEADBAND PANEL:

Use 5.5 mm Crochet Hook
FOUNDATION CHAIN Ch 101( 107, 110)(113, 119, 125)
Use 4.5 mm Crochet Hook
ROW 1: Ch3, DC into the 5th chain from the hook, *Ch1, Sk 1 St, DC2*, Rep * until end.

ROW 2: Turn, Ch1, SC into the 1st St, SC, *SC into ch-sp, SC2*, Rep * until 3 Sts left, SC into ch-sp, SC, SC into 3rd chain of Tch.

ROW 3: Turn, Ch3, DC into 2nd St, *Ch1, Sk 1 St, DC2*, Rep * until end.

Fasten off! Leave a long tail (24-30”) to sew two sides and to wrap around headband

ASSEMBLY:

Bring the two sides together and sew them the way you like.
Sew two sides together at St 17 from each side to make a bow.
Place the seam at middle of the bow.
Wrap the extra yarn around the headband and the middle of the bow.
Weave in all of your ends.
