Crochet Shell Trellis Lace Summer Top Pattern

Today I will bring to you a great top pattern with sleeves. This pattern use Shell Trellis Stitch, which is a simple but a beautiful stitch for you to crochet. You can pair this top with dress, skirts, shorts, jeans, all turns out so beautiful!

Yarn:

For this project I use Yarn Art Jeans which is 55% Cotton -45% Acrylic Sport Weight Yarn, you can also use Alize Cotton Gold which is the same weight yarn.

Hook:

I use 4.0 mm crochet hook to crochet this top, you can replace it with 3.75 mm crochet hook or 4.5 mm crochet hook based on your crochet tension.

Leave a long tail to sew the panels and sleeves.

Tips: You can adjust the foundation chain to fit with your size by adding/ subtracting a multiple of 12 Chs.

ROW 1 (RS): 2DC into 3rd Ch from hook, Sk 2Chs, SC, Ch5, Sk 5Chs, SC, *Sk 2Chs, Sh, Sk 2 Chs, SC, Ch5, Sk 5Chs, SC, Rep * until 3 Chs left, Sk 2 Chs, 3DC into last Ch.

Use another roll of yarn, insert hook into 1st St of ROW 24 of BACK PANEL, pull up a loop and secure yarn.

Remove SM, insert hook again to the loop.

ASSEMBLY:

Place WS of FRONT PANEL on RS of BACK PANEL.

Sew two sides of BACK PANEL and FRONT PANEL together from bottom up to the sleeve part and continue sewing two sides of sleeve.

Sew the shoulder of BACK and FRONT panel together.

*For more “seamless” look, only pick up the back loops when sewing along the body portion.

NECK BORDER:

Insert hook along last St of RIGHT SQUARE NECK, pull up a loop and secure yarn.

RIGHT SQUARE NECK: *2SC along DC, Sk SC*, Rep * until end.

CENTER OF SQUARE NECK: *4SC into Ch5-sp, Sk SC*, Rep * until end.

LEFT SQUARE NECK: *2SC along DC, Sk SC*, Rep * until 1SC left.

-SC2Tog along last SC of LEFT SQUARE NECK and 1st SC of RIGHT SABRINA NECK

RIGHT SABRINA NECK: 2SC along DC.

CENTER OF SABRINA NECK: *4SC into Ch5-sp, Sk SC*, Rep * until end.

LEFT OF SABRINA NECK: 2SC along DC.

-SC2Tog along last SC of LEFT SABRINA NECK and 1st SC of RIGHT SQUARE NECK.

Fasten off.

SLEEVE BORDER: (Make 2)

Insert hook along 1st St of Sleeve Part, pull up a loop and secure yarn.

ROUND 1: Ch1, *2SC along DC, SC along SC*, Rep * until end, Sl St into first SC.

ROUND 2: *Ch1, HDC, Ch1, Sl St*, Rep * until 1St left, Ch1, HDC, Ch1, Sl St into 1st SC of ROUND 1.

Fasten off.

BOTTOM BORDER:

Insert hook into 1st St of the bottom, pull up a loop and secure yarn.

ROUND 1: Ch1, *2SC into Ch2-sp, 4SC into Ch5-sp*, Rep * until end, Sl St into 1st SC.

ROUND 2: *Ch1, HDC, Ch1, Sl St*, Rep * until 1 St left, Ch1, HDC, Ch1, Sl St into 1st SC of ROUND 1.

Fasten off.

Weave in all of your ends.
