This pocket shawl is the little sister of Knit-look Cardigan . After I finished the design for the cardigan, I planned to make a pocket shawl version using the same stitch with Knit-look Cardigan cause I love that stitch so much. The pattern uses only slip stitch and yarn over slip stitch to crochet the whole pocket shawl so completing the shawl is very easy and quick. You can choose to add fringe or not. Adding fringe takes time, however it is worth the effort since the fringe makes the pocket shawl look stunning!
Yarn:
For this design, I used 4 ply Milk Cotton yarn, this is a light DK weight yarn, about 240m to 260m per 100g. You can use any type of light DK yarn which is from 220m to 280m long per 100g. The important thing is your tension can meet the gauge.
Hook:
I used 5.5 mm crochet hook to crochet the whole part and 6.5 mm crochet hook to crochet the foundation chain. If your crochet swatch does not fit with the gauge, try using a larger hook (6.0 mm) or a smaller hook (5.0 mm) based on your crochet tension.

Pull tight to secure.
Add other fringe knots to fill the left side (the space between fringe knots should be 0.6’’/1.5cm).
