This is a lovely pullover sweater that your little one will surely love.
This is definitely a very memorable tutorial for me. All the parts are very simple. However, I focused on knitting the collar to look natural and without gaps. Therefore, I spent a lot of time figuring out this new technique on my own. I probably spent about a year researching the collar, taking it apart and redoing it about 100 times (haha). But honestly, the final result didn’t disappoint me, and I truly love this collar knitting technique. I will definitely use this technique in my future projects. Stay tuned!
Construction:
This is a flat knitting pattern, you will need to knit 4 panels: front panel, back panel and 2 sleeves separately and then sew edges together. But you need to knit the neckline ribbing in the round with short circular knitting needles / double pointed knitting needles or magic loop.

Yarn:
For this design, I used 4 ply Milk Cotton yarn, this is a light DK weight yarn, about 240m to 260m per 100g. You can use any type of light DK yarn from 220m to 280m per 100g. The important thing is your tension can meet the gauge.
Knitting Needles:
I used 3.75mm bamboo straight knitting needles to knit the main part, 2.75mm bamboo straight knitting needles to knit the body ribbing, sleeve ribbing and 2.75mm short circular knitting needles to knit the neckline ribbing.
MATERIALS:
- Yarn: DK/Light Weight (Category #3) (220 – 280 m / 240 – 307 yards per 100g) cotton – acrylic yarn or 4 ply Milk Cotton yarn in two colors: Color 1 (Blue), Color 2 (White)

ESTIMATED YARN REQUIRED:
- Color 1: 185 (216, 250, 312, 362) (410, 474, 529, 594) m / 202 (236, 273, 342, 396) (449, 518, 578, 649) yards of yarn.
- Color 2: 123 (144, 166, 208, 240) (274, 316, 353, 396) m / 134 (157, 181, 228, 263) (299, 346, 386, 433) yards of yarn.
